Please do plan to write up your caving activities, and submit them for possible inclusion in future issues. Exploration, Canadian caving/cave history, cave management projects, cave science, speculations, cave/caver art and musings on cave issues are all open for consideration. This is an operation that relies on volunteer efforts - all subscription monies are directed to printing and mailing costs. As such, we cannot pay for articles, but we can reumburse mailing and reasonable production costs incurred by authors.
Preferred formats for articles are Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, or ASCII text. Hardcopies may also be used, but digital submissions are preferred. Authors are encouraged to include photos and maps with articles. Pictures (prints, slides or negatives) and surveys in 8 1/2" x 11" formats will give the best results. Photos and other materials will, if desired, be returned promptly! The editors cannot be responsible for damage during transit, so package well.
Photographs and graphics may be submitted as electronic files, but please contact the editor first to get details about suitable formats, resolution and best methods to get the files to us.
Also, please drop a quick note to the current editor before sending articles. Surprisingly, occasions have arisen in which two articles have been sent for the same event/expedition and only one has been used.
Advertisements are considered. Please contact the current editor for details on rates.
