Contributions

  1. Anyone may contribute articles to our library as long as they adhere to these editorial guidelines.

  2. Articles must be on subjects relating to cave rescue or cave safety. General caving articles are not appropriate for this collection.

  3. Articles must be submitted via E-mail to hdmunroe@ucalgary.ca . Paper copies will not be accepted. Articles may be in Microsoft Word, StarOffice 5.2, RTF or plain text formats. If the article is not in plain text it must be accompanied by a plain text copy in case the main file is damaged. Any illustrations must be in PNG or JPEG formats.

  4. Authors must include a note giving a brief synopsis of the article as well as an autobiography (fewer than 100 words) including relevant experience and contact information including an e-mail address.

  5. Articles submitted for publication may be edited for grammar, spelling or clarity. ACRO reserves the right not to publish any article that is off-topic, obscure, obviously incorrect or otherwise unacceptable.

  6. By submitting your article for publication you grant ACRO the non-exclusive right to publish your work on its web site. All other rights are retained by the author.

Use of Documents

This library is provided as a service to the Emergency Services community in the hope that the documents will be of use in saving lives and comforting those in distress.

All documents are copyrighted by their respective authors. Contact the individual authors for reproduction rights.
